About the MICROFORTE Project
-
MICROFORTE employs advanced techniques such as assisted migration of plants and fungi, co-localization of mycorrhizal plants, and transplanting healthy soil. These methods are meticulously designed to rebuild whole tree ecosystems, accelerating natural forest recovery and enhancing biodiversity.
-
Led by Dr. Bhatnagar and Ms. Castillo Cieza, the project is a collaborative endeavor involving local partners and global experts. It aims not only to restore forests but also to provide a model for environmental rehabilitation that supports human health and ecological resilience, particularly in regions facing similar climate challenges.
-
Join us at our special event to delve into the details of this transformative project. Engage with the minds behind MICROFORTE, ask questions, and learn how you can contribute to both the project and the Ecotechnology & Landscape Restoration Research Fund at Boston University. This is a unique chance to be part of a movement shaping the future of environmental sustainability.
